Let’s Talk About Menopause Workshop

Let’s Talk About Menopause

I am running an open session for my friends, yoga students, colleagues and relatives who, like me, are at that time of life often called ‘The Change’.

It is astonishing how little we talk about menopause in general everyday conversations, and how much we suffer and put up with symptoms without good support and understanding. Any ‘change' usually turns out to be very good in the end, and there are undoubtedly numerous ways you are already helping yourself which could benefit others (I’m not the expert on this).

If you would like to listen and talk about menopause with women like yourself, and are happy to be open and frank about it, please join the gathering detailed below: 3-hour gathering of women who experiencing pre-menopause, peri-menopause, menopause and post-menopause (you ladies are crucial!)

Sunday 1st August 10am - 1pm

Suggested donation £10.00 - £30.00

Online on Zoom - to accommodate the maximum number of women and to welcome those from further afield.

Chatham House Rules and there are NO stupid questions.

How do you feel about your menopause?
Is the lack of information and discussion about it frustrating you?
Do you wonder why our mothers, sisters, aunts, friends and colleagues aren’t talking about it when half the population will experience it?
Are you confused about HRT? Is it safe?
Are you aware of the natural remedies and lifestyle choices which can help? Do they actually work?
Is menopause the same for all women?
What would happen if men went through it?

The session will include discussion on: What is pre-menopause, peri-menopause, in menopause and post-menopause - what’s actually happening Symptoms - with small group discussion in Breakout Rooms Solutions - allopathic and alternative (you can use both!) with small presentations in Breakout Rooms A 20-minute Yoga practice to support pelvic floor & organs - you will learn this in slowtime and get a copy of the practice to use at home. This has the potential to develop into a monthly meeting.
