For those starting their yoga journey or returning after a break
If you would like to give yoga a try, or would like to return to a class after a long break, I am offering the following:
NEW 7-Week Beginners’/Returners’ Yoga Course Online on Zoom
Monday 6.15pm – 7.30pm
Taster session 7th September - £8
Following 6 weeks - £52
This style of yoga, Viniyoga, is underpinned by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra and includes careful attention to the breath. It is a gentle form of yoga, yet very deep, and is suitable for all abilities.
By the end of the 7-week course you will be able to:
Do ujjayi breathing - in āsana/postures
Explain the meaning of Yoga & the relationship between breath and movement
Perform several classic postures - dynamically and statically
Do a short prānyāma/breathing practice
Join an established yoga class confidently
After the course you may join one of my established groups (possibly face-to-face or continuing online, depending on Covid-19 and British Wheel of Yoga guidelines). See class details here.
